Is this the future of climate change?

In early September, a series of extreme weather events highlighted the potential effects of climate change:

Typhoon in Hong Kong: A typhoon hit Hong Kong, causing flooding and tree damage.

Flooding in Libya: Heavy rainfall led to catastrophic floods, with over 11,000 deaths and thousands missing. Conflict and poor infrastructure worsened the impact.

Mediterranean Storms: Storms in the Mediterranean caused severe flooding in Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Spain.

Asian Typhoons: Taiwan, Hong Kong, and southern China were hit by two typhoons, resulting in evacuations and record-breaking rainfall.

Rainfall in the Americas: Brazil faced deadly floods, while the U.S. experienced extreme weather, including heavy rain at the Burning Man festival and flooding in Massachusetts.

Scientists warn that climate change is increasing the frequency and intensity of such events, emphasizing the need for government preparedness, especially in regions unaccustomed to extreme weather. Warmer ocean temperatures are fueling more powerful storms.

Are we doing enough about it or still considers this as non-important at the moment ?
